so the wings shouldnt play this like any other game? shouldnt try to win? just cause its unimportant? not very professional. sure ward is playing a good game but the wings need to find a way to score, its prep for the playoffs. sure they scored against minnesota but this isnt minnesota is it?

i think you saw a preview of the lines for the playoffs last game i really think that modano needs to prove himself before getting into the line up which wont happen. At this point i think draper and miller out play him. they play the PK, physical game, and can grind out some goals. way more then what modano is bringing to the table.

I would not be unhappy if they played that way during the playoffs. that was a great game. Abs was possessed. He went out there ready to rip someones head off and he needs to play like that every game. Bert was a game changer and did a great job. Jimmy made some huge game saving saves. LOVED the physical play

fighting can def swing the momentum. ive seen it happen in a lot of games. i agree i absolutely love this bert. he can hold his own too. maybe he was still pissed about the 10-3 blow out.

You can only blame the players for so long. I haven't seen him try to change anything except the lines. Many factors though.
