serious i mean not much of a difference but i can see him asking for around what lidstrom makes if not now but in the future i heard they offered him a 10 year 75 million dollar contract

i'm glad their close hopefully its gonna be long term, i honestly think 10 years is enough by then he'll be what 36, 37 sorry if i'm wrong and then its off to one and two year contracts. it was kind of making me worried because i had heard he turned down a contract but thanks for posting, lol i'll stop worrying about it

you can use just one by hoobastank for their intro because thats what they've played before

i know the season for him has been tough but it will work itself out, everyone always has their off years and hes having one this year. for now though just keep conks in net and we'll be fine and then if ozzie isnt better next year then you know that we need to get rid of him, but hes had years like this, like the year he broke his hand the next year he did awful but then bounced back, it'll work out though

good for shanny i'm glad to see him back in hockey i hated having him end his career like that hope he does well in new jersey

man that would be nice to have him in detroit but i dont think we're gonna need him, call me crazy because i said that but i think our goalies in the minors are gonna be our goalies of the future pretty much, give them another year and ozzies contract will be up and howard hopefully will be ready by then because that should be more than enough time for him

ok yes i some what agree with you yes in his prime he was a good player but he also was one of the most hated people in the league and when darren mccarty made him turtle lol watch the video it looks like claude is looking at mccarty and even if he wasnt its not hard to see theres a ton of fights going on and that theres one person coming right at you and if you think he was so tough then how come it seems like on every fight he had ther person he was fighting had to make sure to take his visor off for him maybe once in a while i can see that because you just start fighting but once against hatcher he had it on once with mccarty he had it on again so i'll give it to you he was a good player but also the most hated and i'm sorry i cant stand it when someone wont take their visor off if hes that afraid to get his faced pounded then why even fight at all

i relize fighting has gone down but havent they relized since the strike the NHL hasnt been the same as it was before, i remember watching red wings games when i was a kid and seeing the fights between colorado and detroit its not the same without the fighting, so i'm sorry if they want to make the league worse then take it out but it just would not be the same and they'll lose more fans

honestly i hope they dont trade anyone on the team because i like all of them but probably the most to go i would say would be lilja even though he just did sign a contract but like the article said hes not worth much but it could upgrade our 3rd line just a little more

sometimes you can't trust the video games b/c in i think 07 or 08 they had samuelsson as a righty so they mess up in all the games

agreed i would love to see that line for the power play i think its a strong possibility but maybe he might mix it up a bit who knows but it would be awsome no one would be able to stop that power play

they don't even have him in a wings jersey so its probably a typo

i haven't heard yet if their gonna have one or not but i don't think they have had one the past few years maybe i'm wrong but i don't remember hearing of one

i'm happy that hes gonna re-sign b/c with lidstrom and chelly there it will help the younger defenseman learning from two great players

i don't know its kind of a tie between the rest of the original six teams just b/c they have kept the same logo since they started in the nhl pretty much with a few changes in them but i think they all have cool logos
