Totally...sammy reached over a ref and was able to one punch derek roy down to the ice...he was punching anybody that came near him right in the mug. Good stuff.

Well, I just watched it on tivo twice...the arm was up before he collided with that guy...so i dunno why it would be roughing.

It was a trip close to the slot about 5 seconds before that hit that Flip got called for, not the bump. The announcer's said there was a delayed penalty coming before all that...the official scoring on nhl.com says roughting....yeah i dont get that...

I feel really bad for Conks coming in and giving up ONE goal (a one-timer in the slot) and getting the L after three soft goals had already done us in. My prediction is a 5-1 win. Barbarian Hossa with 2 goals, Pavs with a goal and 2 assists. Actually as long as we win, I don't care if its 1-0 or 16-15...damn the stats, we need the points.

Let's hope so...the puck possession game seems to be on track in this one...let's just hope we don't spend the third sitting back and nursing the lead...even yesterday the 3rd was kinda whack.

Not only did Meech have a chance to get that puck out of the zone about 20 seconds earlier, he was watching Hanzel, and did a piss poor job of defending him...weak. And yes, Stuart had a chance to put himself between Hanzal and the goal and failed.

Agreed in a BIG BIG way...hesitation like that is where bigger teams are gonna be looking to get an edge over us in the playoffs. Raffi hasn't even been run into yet tonight, and if he or any other d-men are thinking about the hit, it could mean a lotta unneccessary time in our zone. They have the speed to diffuse the forecheck, they need to use it.
