the third goal was a freebie, but im not ready to hang conks for the other two...either way, our goaltending is a friggin liability, and we need to fix the problem soon, not at the trade deadline...this is getting humiliating...our team defense is something close to, if not in, the bottom third...this is wack wings hockey...boo

if i was the victim of a shark attack i would think "wow this sucks"...but if i have to watch the wings play like this against the sucks monday, ill friggin kill myself

i say when homer gets back, the big line from last year is reunited, or they're at least together on the PP...it wouldnt take them long at all to gel again...we would still have a gnarly second line with hossa and mule playing together with maybe a filppula centering

these boston guys are good at hitting, and equally good at seeing hits coming and getting set...ive seen a lot of wings trying to pop bruins and bouncing right off and wiping out...its not just chara either, although those attempts have proven the most futile

ok fernandez is no beast dude...we may be playing well with the puck, but our offense has led to a bunch of weak finishes...shots on goal might not be close but scoring chances are. we need better finishing, and our goaltending wasnt top notch either...first one was a goal on any goaltender but the other two were stoppable

no joke...this is turning into our usual gig now in the first period...the better team in the stats department, but the loser on the scoreboard

I'm so glad someone mentioned that. The Pens have a glass jaw right now, so winning the first period tonight could mean the sweep and the cup. I say 3-1 Wings (Pavel and Franzen plus an empty netter).

I'm so glad we have Babs...he's the alpha male even when the calls are blatantly stacked against us. This guy looks always kinda looks like his dog just died. I imagine the wife treats him like garbage and his kids run all over him. He's gotta know this isn't good for the locker room. But neither would calling out the players...Ron Wilson does that a lot and it seems to have no positive effects. He changed his lines up and acted like he had a rock solid game plan, and when it didn't work he panicked, started juggling his lines and over-coaching. And in the moments after his defeat, he decided to start griping about the officiating. The Wings may have been interfering a lil more than usual, but just some bumping and body on body contact... I saw no blatant non-calls on clutching and hooking as Cindy Crosby alluded to. Kronner needs to be careful about his elevation on the big hits, and Homer knows about the crease, but other than that, I don't think the refs are gonna have much to hawkeye. But I'm sick of this being called GOOD COACHING...it's simply not. The idea that "the squeaky wheel gets the grease" is SO lame... I always thought "the emptiest can rattles the most."
