Humble pie to myself as I thought they were f*cked tonight yet they had arguably their best game when it counted so kudos for that. Sucks that Jimmy probably should have had another SO but he was great tonight anyway. I firmly believe we can beat the Sharks. We had their number all year and won both games in their building, plus they had serious issues with the Avs.

I guess we'll see on Tuesday how bad Detroit wants this series because they sure as s*** didn't want it today. Made their third liners look like superstars and Howard lets in an absolute back breaker.

What I'm saying is that all these teams we're battling with play like s*** and when we have a chance to gain ground we never do. What was it, December when we last won more than two in a row? Also, I will be in that building Monday to cheer them until I get hoarse.

Wow. Not a complete shock but still pretty surprising. Good riddance though. Other than some flashes last year he never put it together.

I agree in part. Nights before games/practices should be a no-no. This thread though makes me wonder how many Wings have gone to games hungover and how that turned out.

I love Ovie and that team in general but much like our game seven performance, God damn them for not showing up, for the world would be a much better place if they did.
