Though I hate the Flames, their radio PBP guy Peter Maher is one of the best simply because he shows enthusiasm for both teams. Without the crowd, it'd be hard to tell who scored sometimes because he reacts the same way for both teams. -

I've been shockingly impressed. He's kept the penalties to a minimum and if he wasn't so snakebitten he'd have 7 or 8 goals by now. -
Going to this one as well. Haven't missed a Wings game here since 2004 so I've seen wins but far too many losses. I don't feel too confident about this one but it should be a good time nonetheless.

Is it possible to bench someone until the playoffs? It's clear at this point Ozzie could give a damn until then. Also, ZDH NEEDS to stay together as they are far more effective together than apart.

Another solid win for the Wings against another quality opponent. It's encouraging that they did it with two things that killed them last year, namely goaltending and the PK.

St Louis played their ass off today but again, Detroit blew two leads in the game and Jimmy Howard did himself no favors on two of their goals.

I really hope this isn't another year of Detroit regular season collapses. On the plus, Maltby played an excellent game so hopefully that continues.
