I've been calling him 'Super Bambi.' That because when we saw him in the earlier rounds he was always going so fast that he would end up on all fours by the end of the play, and now whenever we see him he's out to get somebody like they just killed his mom.

Actually, unlike most people on this thread, I actually felt supremely confident for our last 4 cups, but am now nervous of this series. We've always been eliminated in the past when we had this many injuries, and we're going to have 3 games played by Tuesday night. That said, I fully believe the Wings will win.

That's quite a leap in logic you make there. There's also very little difference between a 20 and 25 year old and between a 39 and a 47 year old, so I'd rather have Chelios locked up for a few more years rather than Lidstrom since it will be less of a cap hit.. yes, I overdid your analogy, but the point you make here is extremely faulty.

Just wanted to point this out to everyone: I believe, for the rest of his career, if Z has an empty net to score on, he's going to do everything in his power to get the puck in that net. Why? If he had put it in last year in game 5 of the finals instead of losing it at center ice, 34.7 would have never happened, and we would've won the Cup that night, guaranteed. I won't post the video because it's too scarring...

Hahahaha this is priceless, Osgood is funny. But, yes, as I do not live in Canada, and don't have cable, I have either found a free stream of every game online or gone to a friend's house. I really do hate the TV deal and how it makes so many games inaccessible to so many fans..

Don't park in the JLA parking lots - they're the most expensive and take the longest to get out. If you really want to shuttle... I mean I guess why not... but my first choice is split between either the Cobo Roof or the Cobo Basement - both are $10 as far as I know and the roof puts you just as close as the JLA parking lots; just go down the stairs and you're nearly at the foot of the Joe! It's never taken me more than 5 or 10 minutes to completely vacate the vicinity of the roof, but if you park in the Cobo basement, I've been stuck in there for 20 or 30 minutes before I could get moving... though last time I was there, Game 7 of Anaheim series, everyone in there was jubilantly honking their horns for about a half an hour. Hope this helps.

Actually it was just in a thread the other day.. Z wore 15 as a rookie, then switched to 40. And he's gonna be a Wing until he's 40, so fitting.

Well, since being 'clutch' is an immeasurable, very possibly. However, how do you think Samuelsson scores all these goals that you can recall from this year and years past? He's not the most offensively gifted player out there, and how he scores is by getting more shots to the net moreso than everyone else (except for a very select few). Check out the stats, Sammy's in the top 25 in the NHL in shots every season, but only about 7% of those shots end up in the back of the net. While I'm not trying to discount anything that Sammy has done for our team, and I do love the guy, don't build him up to something he's not: he's gonna score some timely goals when he throws that many shots towards the net, and great for us, the kid steps it up in the playoffs. If you want to sort through playoff stats from the past few years, yahoo has those too.

Or you could just buy it from NHL.com, since they apparently don't give you sewed-on nameplates (and numbers?) and you could just peel off the numbers if they change. I'm trying to remember, what was Zetterberg's number when he first came into the league...
