Funny thing is, the pittsburgh boards were filled with "We're Finished", "Another Year of Failure"...etc after the Wings won the first 2 games. It's still anybodys series. It's all about who wants Game 5 more. Im just thankful its at The Joe and not in Pittsburgh. I'd be more nervous if I were the Penguins.

I agree with you actually. The NHL obviously wants this to go 7 games for its ratings purpose. When was the last time a Stanley Cup Final was over in 4? Probably the '98 Wings, but thats just off the top of my head. The NHL wants to make money and thats why this league is in a crisis mode. On the other hand, 6 SCF in 14 years and 4 Cups in 11 is something to be pretty damn proud of. Lets hope we make it 5 cups in 12!

4th Line carried us through the 3rd period tonight. Abdelkader getting his 1st career goal is huge and Leino and Maltby always dug hard in the corners. Helm isn't a 4th liner but he had a great game too! With Z playing "Crosby Spy", lets hope these guys can keep up the good work!!

The National Hockey League announced today the possible start dates for the 2009 Stanley Cup Final. If both Conference Final series have been decided by Tuesday, May 26, the Western Conference winner would host Game 1 of the 2009 Stanley Cup Final on Thursday, May 28. CAR - Ward CHI - Kane DET - Osgood / Mule PIT - Crosby / Malkin Crosby has a huge lead over everybody. He scores every game and at very important times for his team.

Last 2 Cup Wins have come against these 2 teams! I think PIT is obviously the more dangerous team. Even though Carolina has pulled off major comebacks, it's never safe to rely on luck. PIT in 6. And Jordan & Eric Staal drop the gloves at least twice in this series! LOL
