I've always thought Kronner should be able to put up some great offensive numbers.. I think he has a 20 goal/50 assist season in him.

Okay, NOW it's official. Forsberg will be playing for Modo in the SEL this year. Not only that, his buddy Markus Naslund will make a comeback and play for the same team. AND, they will both play for free.

It's actually not definitive yet, there's no official word from Forsberg himself and all anyone in Modo seems to know is that he's continuing to practice and has yet to decide what to do.

Even though he let in some soft goals against Anaheim, I'm beginning to get some more confidence in Howard's potential to be a solid back-up for us. I think it's good for him to get these consecutive starts instead of just playing a game here and there. As for the lines, there's no need to change anything.

it's gonna take a miracle for us to make the playoffs.. lower your expectations guys, this is gonna be a struggle of a year where we will have to win games 2-1, not like last year when we had hat-tricks left and right.

Not sure I could take another series between these two teams.. the last series was like when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object. But yeah, always good hockey when they face off. Just bad for the heart.

Zetterberg was awesome this game. Had Kesler all over him but battled through and scored a beatiful goal to win the game. In other news, for the first time ever I actually believe that Howard could be a solid backup for us this year. Played great, and controlled his rebounds well. The goal was a fluke deflection that he had no chance on. A+ performance. Datsyuk was good as usual. Like I mentioned earlier, I think he needs to shoot more, he seems to be thinking pass-first all the time. Overall a really good team win, especially considering it was the 2nd night of a back to back.

Where is mindfly and Jake Ryan when you want to serve them some crow?

I knew Z was gonna come up big. You could tell he was getting feisty with Kesler (epic matchup that) and he's got that willpower and determination that makes him elevate his game when pushed. BEAUTIFUL goal.

Well there seems to be a lot of whistles. Some nice action at times though.
