If Datsyuk doesn't get nominated for the Hart, he better get both the Selke and Lady Byng to make up for it. He's had an amazing season.

Whatever it is that was bothering him, it looked really bad in the 2nd. He was barely tested in the 3rd but looked fine in his movements. Most important thing is that they got the win. The rest will do both Ozzie and Hank good, Babs mentioned Z having some groin issue.

Hedman, yes. Unfortunately it's the lesser of the two Hedman's, Oscar. Don't know what Gustafsson was thinking there to be honest.

A lot most likely. At least early on. If Lundqvist becomes available and joins the team he will obviously take over. Hopefully Huselius will join now that the BJ's are out, that would be a pretty good addition.

Canada has the best team by far right now. If Washington lose their series Russia will get some serious reinforcements though. Team Sweden looks okay compared to everyone except Canada. We could use Lundqvist, but it seems like the Rangers won't be knocked out this round.

Can anyone give me a convincing argument to why Chara should win it instead of Lidstrom? I know you shouldn't look only at stats, but when Chara doesn't even have the best numbers among d-men on his team, I have to wonder why people think he has such a good chance to get it. Atleast if Green wins it I can understand that they voted for his offensive skill.

Not surprising. I was hoping for Berglund to get nominated but I can't say these choices are bad. Mason's the obvious winner, even though he hasn't been as strong the last couple of months. Norris nominees revealed tomorrow, could be interesting.

Well they have some lucky bounces to get back from games like the one against the Islanders where they hit like 48 posts and 15 crossbars. It usually evens out. And good teams/goalies get lucky. You sound like a Blue Jackets fan. -
