You gotta feel bad for Varlamov who comes in and keeps the Rags to 1 goal and they still lose. But Lundqvist is crazy right now, he's one of few goaltenders that really have the capability to steal a series on his own. Caps can play better offense though, and I think they'll get atleast one of the games in New York.

The Wings are pretty much f*cked now that Hitchcock has found out the secret to their success.

It's an interesting comparison. Right now I'd probably say Ericsson. The way he's stepped into the NHL so effortlessly and looks so confident and calm has really impressed me. And we've yet to really see him bring out his offensive game. I think Hedman will need some time to adjust to the speed of the NHL, but he's only 18 and has tons of potential.

This was before the 1st game against Columbus. I'm sure he was happy with the intensity and emotion he saw from the team.

Trust me, the Wings are much better off without Jamtin. He's like Sweden's Sean Avery, only more stupid, less entertaining and with worse actual hockey skills. I hate the guy, can't believe he was actually a Wings prospect.. although Avery was too so it makes sense.

haha I actually was one of the people who didn't completely give up on him. But looking overall on the board most people at some point or another said Conklin/Howard/Larsson/McCollum/Chris Chelios should be the starter.
