Well, if they had played like they did in the 3rd period from the beginning, this game would have turned out quite differently. Even though it's painful to see the team like this, it's so obvious this was just a case of having no respect for the opposing team. I think it's funny that so many are pressing the panic button after this game. If they play like this against Nashville on Sunday I'll be more worried, since that is a team that could be a 1st round opponent. And the Sharks won't win all their remaining games. The President's trophy is still very much in reach. So you would say he is the "better" player in the league, and Lidstrom is the "worse" player in the league?

Just curious, who do you think is the "better" player in the NHL?

I feel like there's too much passing in the offensive zone.. especially around the boards. They just need to take the puck to the net, play it simple and try to get some ugly goals. And HIT THE NET on your shots. Damn I'm tired of hearing "shot goes wide", "rising shot over the crossbar" etc.

Our best defensive players just got schooled by the Isles.

Wings just can't get an easy goal. Been like that last couple of games. If it's not posts or amazing saves by the goaltender, it's whiffs and bounces and whatever. They have to fight so damn hard for every goal.

They're tied 2nd for most shorthanded goals in the league. Not saying that makes it okay.. but the Wings aren't the only ones that has had it happen against this team.
