Dallas are quickly falling out of the playoff race. Another likely loss for them tonight against Vancouver, they're down 4-2 in the 3rd.

They should fire Babcock if he doesn't put Hank and Pav on the same line in the 2nd. I'm almost serious too. The team needs some kind of "injection" offensively.

With Homer back in the lineup there is no excuse not to play Pav-Hank-Homer and Franzen-Flip-Hossa.

Back when I played, my big strenghts were my skating and playmaking. I didn't have much of a shot and didn't use it very much, and I wasn't very physical, though I could definitely take hits without folding. I had decent stick-handling, nothing amazing but I could do some dekes every once in a while. Usually I played at Center, sometimes Winger, and since I took a lot of defensive responsibility I was used as a d-man a few times. Have you figured out who I am yet? That's right, Valtteri Filppula. We're about the same height as well. My role model was Fedorov, but I had a way too lousy shot to be compared to him. EDIT: nevermind, I see I got to be Flip after all

Hopefully Babs decides to play good line combinations from the start of this game, and not wait until they're down a couple of goals to change them. If he does: 7-1 Wings. Someone gets a hat-trick. Maybe Franzen.

Yeah, Conks was pretty bad last game against the Flames. Look at the 1-0 goal last game.. Jokinen scored it from the corner, with no angle at all, just like 2 of the goals Ozzie let in last night. If our goalies can just learn to hold the post I'll feel much better about the Wings chances in the playoffs. Anyway, we'll see how Conklin does today.
