I saw Hank out there with Maltby a few times too. I know Babs want to try different combinations for the playoffs, but this is ridiculous. I'd like to see him put what firepower we have together on the top 2 lines for the 2nd, we sure need it to get through the BJ-wall of boringness. Dats-Hank-Kopecky Hudler-Flip-Franzen

God damn Kopecky is looking good lately. He should get some more kids. That one move he tried looked like something Hossa would do, too bad he wasn't able to get it in. I also like what we're seeing from Maltby and Drapes. They're looking pretty good now regardless of who the 3rd link on that line is. Datsyuk looks snakebit though. He's shooting wide and hitting the iron and basically doing everything but actually scoring.

Yep, the Central has really become one of the stronger divisions in the league now. Still, the argument that Detroit has had it easy because of a weak division was always a bad one. Their stats against the Central has often been worse than against the rest of the league.

YES. Very happy actually. No need to mess with this team and add another guy fighting for a spot on the 4th line or the 3rd D-pairing.

I am. If I was a Ducks fan, or if Pahlsson was a Wing, I'd hate to lose him. He's a great player, very underrated. Good pickup for the Hawks though.

I think your mind is subconsciously warping his words. He praised the entire management of the Wings and said he thinks they'll be able to re-sign Hossa and talked about how great their scouting and their prospects are.

Wrong, he is supposedly announcing his retirement later today. It's not at all surprising, but still sad. One of the greatest to ever play the game and it's unfortunate that his foot destroyed so much of the last part of his career. EDIT: apparantly he's not in Denver and is not going to make any announcements today. stupid rumours.
