The way he sometimes seem to think he's Zetterberg or Datsyuk and tries to carry the puck into the zone and he holds on to it way too long and ends up losing the puck. I can't be the only seeing this, he did it a ton of times tonight. Homer understands what his role is when playing with Z and D, get the puck to them as quickly as possible and get in position in front of the goal. Cleary has his strenghts, he works hard and as you say he does have a physical presence.. but I find it very hard to justify sitting guys like Helm or Leino instead of him. I guess he could play instead of Malts on the 4th line, but the way Maltby was playing tonight he should be playing

Cleary should sit imo. I might get flamed for saying it, but his play as of late has not impressed me at all.

Maybe the best game the Wings have played this season. God this team is amazing when the 4th line works and we have a goalie we can count on to make some saves. Hossa's injury does put a little damper on things, but it doesn't sound too bad. Let's hope it's not like Stuart's injury which didn't seem like much at all at first, but turned into him being gone for weeks. Sharks seem unable to bring their top game in JLA. Time to aim for that home-ice advantage.

Apart from when the wings were on the PK (awesome goal by Hank btw), that 2nd period was pure domination by the Wings. They were toying with the Sharks for long periods of play. Awesome to see, but I really wish they could have gotten one or two more pucks past Nabokov. A 2 goal lead is fragile against this team, and I think SJ will come out flying in the 3rd. Conks has come up big though and hopefully can continue to do so. Also, how awesome is Leino? Helm and Sammy have also had great games so far.

I doubt it since it's only the NHL streams that have been removed. They've probably gotten a C&D letter from Mr. Bettman.

I don't think that works outside of the US. It's cool though, there are other streams, but it was nice to have atdhe for as long as it survived.. now it's back to how it was before it came along, every game-day being a hunt for a stream and most of the time you end up with a crappy stream where you can't see the puck and can barely make out the players.

Yeah. It's not unexpected though. I said months ago that something as good as atdhe that is also free won't last long.

Yay, I got tickets for both games! I was a little worried when I had to sit in the que for like 20-25 minutes, but I pretty much got exactly the spots that we wanted. 3 seats in the mid-tier for the 1st game and 3 on the upper-tier for the 2nd. Expensive as hell when you count in all the travel costs and hotel, but I'm psyched about going!

Crosby is by far the best overall player in the league. He's also one of the classiest, and probably one of the best leaders as well. Datsyuk is definitely top 20 material, but I'd rank guys like Spezza, Kovalchuk, Kovalev, Clutterbuck and Tootoo above him.

Rob and Scott Niedermayer. I've always hated them and I'm not sure I really have a good reason to. And Todd Bertuzzi. Though that hate might be rational.
