Well, they said that situation the goal was scored in was not a factor, it's just about the esthetics. In my opinion Jagr's and Lemieux's goals were not all that great. Pretty good list other than that though. EDIT: oh, and Cindy's had no business among those goals either. Haven't we seen a ton of goals like that? Malkin scored an even nicer one than that just the other day.

Yeah, but 2 of those games were decided with a shoot-out, and in the 3rd the GWG was a penalty shot.. Mainly I think going up against Raycroft in the 1st round would be perfect, given how our goalie situation will most likely be.

Even though Columbus doesn't have any playoff experience, I still don't want to meet them in the 1st round. Playing 4-7 games against that freak Mason would be scary. I'd also want to avoid Minnesota, both because we often have tough games against them and because they're not a very fun team to watch. With the way Dallas have started to play, they could be a tough team in the playoffs too.. but I also think another series against them would be fun, and we seem to have their number. The crazy thing is that even Phoenix at 15th have a realistic shot at getting in to the playoffs. Personally I'm hoping Colorado, LA or Nashville have a strong finish and we get to face one of them.

Besides the last 10 minutes where they basically just defended the lead, I thought this was a great game by the Wings. Of course, extra credit goes to Conklin who made a number of big saves.. could have been a closer game than it ended up being.

Considering we Europeans basically have 75+ games (per team and season, not counting the playoffs) that are played at pretty much completely unreasonable times (1 AM and later), don't you think you could live with these two games being played at a time more suited for us than you guys? I think I saw somewhere that they'll be played at around 8 PM here, that's 2 PM for you guys. I'd kill for NHL games to be played at 2 in the day every now and then.

It's not unthinkable when you consider how good our PP is. Would be awesome if it happened this season, but it would also be fun if he came within 1 or 2 and then he got to a 1000 during the games in Sweden next season.

Nice goal, especially the move in the neutral zone. Not exactly goal of the year material (imo) but it will certainly be a top 10. Ovie's only 7 points behind Malkin with a game in hand. Go #8!

What a great game by the Wings. It feels nice to not have anything to complain about for once. Well, except the fact that it feels terrible that we can't keep all of Hudler, Filppula, Franzen and Hossa. They all made great contributions today.
