I would be terrified if we were matched up against Columbus in the 1st round, which isn't entirely unlikely. Not only because of this game, but we always seem to struggle a bit against them.. and they're not very fun to watch either. Mason vs. Ozzie in a 7 game series could get really ugly. Minnesota is another team I wouldn't want us to meet, similar team to the BJ's. But I put this game down to being tired and meeting a team that is fighting for it's life and has the hottest goaltender in the league. On Sunday we should be right back on track against the weak Avs. P.S. San Jose turned the game around, now has the lead 5-4 against Buffalo. Those bastards.

They are right in the middle of the battle for the last two or three playoff spots. They have a probable Calder winner and a possible Vezina candidate/winner in Mason. We can only lose against San Jose or Boston without you being pissed off? But if we lose against them you'll be pissed because they didn't step it up for the "big" games. We can't win 82 straight, easy as that. A tough schedule and injuries to several big players is going to take it's toll. Aaaaaand...we're still in this game. It's not over yet. EDIT: and it's 2-2. WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT. HMMMMM.

We're obviously not going to get anything for free this game. Everyone looks a little..off. Except Leino maybe. And Ozzie. Hoping Babs find a way to wake them up for the third, it's still only a one goal game.

We're not friends with the puck tonight. Even guys like Z and Datsyuk are losing the puck in ways they normally don't. Great move by Dats though, shame it hit the post. Come on PP!

Anyone else hate games against Columbus? You gotta give them credit for being so good defensively, but it's not really fun to watch. Atleast we managed to create a few chances towards the end.

If the NHL wants to increase interest for the league, shutting down sites like myp2p, justintv and atdhe (it will happen someday probably) is not the way to do it. So stupid, especially for us euros.

Leino with a hat-trick and Zetterberg with 2 for a 5-1 Win.

I thought I read something about Leino being too old to be considered a "rookie"? If that's not the case, he could probably have won the Calder if he had played this entire season, he looks like he's been in the league for years.

Leino and Helm could step in on many teams top 2 lines. We're pretty lucky to have guys like that as replacements for our injured players. But no more injuries on the D, okay?

Minnesota was all over them. You could tell their gameplan was to not leave them any room. Good thing we have more than one line that can score in games like this.

SEE, that goal didn't matter! Overall a really good performance by the Wings. Great to see that depth presenting itself, the Wild managed to shut down the Eurotwins and then Hossa and Hudler stepped up. Looks like we might have found our 2nd line.. Also really impressed yet AGAIN, by Helm and Leino. Solid game by Ozzie, though he didn't have much to do. The 2nd goal I don't think was his fault, it wasn't unstoppable but not overly weak either. 6th straight! Let's make it 7 tomorrow!

Yeah. Sammy is a forward, can't expect him to play like Lidstrom on the D. We've seen elite forwards being caught in the exact same way Sammy was there. It was a nice play by Koivu, simple as that. But Sammy and Flip could score hat-tricks and still get s***.

Come on. It sure as hell wasn't weaker than the one Conks let in last game.
