Ever since the playoffs last year I've been impressed by how much Datsyuk's physical play has improved. His hits are rarely the hardest, but I love seeing when he delivers them, I can imagine the recipient going "did I just get hit by DATSYUK?" haha I also think it's fun too see Patrik Berglund on that list, it's rare to see Swedes, and especially rookie-swedes, hit that much.

It's about time Hudler scored again. I think he'll get the hat-trick today, assisted by Filppula on all three. 6-2 Wings, after Datsyuk, Franzen and Lidstrom have scored as well.

That's so true, these kind of interviews are usually mind-numbingly boring, I wish more players weren't so afraid to show a little personality and not be so diplomatic all the time. You can't really blame the players though, they do so many interviews that it's only natural that they have some prepared responses and such. What was great about this was how comfortable and confident Pav looked, usually he seems a bit out of his element in these situations. So funny too, even though you kinda have to try and kinda interperet what he means by some of it "I lost stick, I need to be stronger arm" Thank's a lot Kira (and Dr. Science haha) for posting it!

Solid effort by the Canucks. Sundin did a decent game considering the cicumstances. He looked a little off on the timing off his shots and such but that is to be expected. j.hoop: I'm pretty sure he got atleast 2-3 shots off. Maybe not on goal, but he shot a few.

You can't know much about Sundin to be saying that.

Russian players in general seem to have a hard time with english.. same goes for Finnish players, who might learn the language but they just never seem to be able to get the pronounciation correct. I guess it has to do with what Konnan is saying, those languages are very different from most others. Swedish people have a pretty easy time learning english, but we also start learning it very early in school. Still, Holmstrom's english is more in line with the way most swedes talk than Lidstrom who sounds like he's lived in the US his entire life. ..well, actually Holmstrom is pretty damn bad at it even by Swedish standards..
