No goalie plays lights out every game.. it was a difficult game tonight for Howie. I see nothing wrong with keeping him in there.

Lilja and Stuart scorers in the same game? I can safely say that will never happen again. It was way closer in the end than it should have been, but the Wings once again show how clutch they are at the end of games lately. Not Howard's best game. But after so many straight starts and after being so consistant I can forgive him a game like this. I think not having any shots against him for long periods in the 1st and 2nd period got him off his game a bit. It's difficult for any goalie to stand cold and suddenly have a 2-on-1 against you or a breakaway. 6 straight wins! Looks like Chicago is heading for a loss and LA/Nashville for OT. Either way we are in a good position.

Well atleast the GDT isn't as slow as it's been the last 5 games. Please hang on for atleast a point Wings...

Yeah it shouldn't be a problem if they just re-focus for the 3rd and score a goal or two to put it away. Just unnecessary to let them get 2 quick ones like that at the end of the period though.

That was some incredible puck movement on our PP. Too bad we couldn't score. The score could be more, but I can't complain.

That Zetterberg guy is a pretty cool guy, makes great plays and doesn't afraid of anything.

Love it. Total domination that period, exactly what you want to see against the worst team in the league. Every line seems to be rolling. Can't believe Franzen didn't score on that chance though.. despite his 2 goals against Minny he has been missing a ton of chances.
