With the Wings, you should probably look at who is projected as going in the 100-250 range

Does no one else remember how good he was earlier in the season, before getting injured? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OKBhiAqkcgw The one thing you could complain about back then was that he was shooting and shooting and shooting and very rarely scoring. So because of that people forget that he was playing great, maybe the best I've seen him since 07-08. But after his injury he hasn't been quite the same. I very rarely want to use the "he's not 100%" excuse, but watching him play right now leads me to believe that it might be true. He doesn't look like he's having fun out there. I think the people complaining about his lack of heart or whatever are dead wrong..

Watching him tear it up together with the Sedins really just makes it even more of a joke that Weinhandl was selected over him for the Olympics. Glad Sammy is doing well. I was one of the people who tried to defend him while everyone on here was complaining about him all the time.

Agreed. The PP would be waaaay overpowered. They've already made the zones bigger, and they're calling every little thing to ensure there are lots of PP opportunites during the games. The PKers being allowed to ice the puck also adds an interesting dynamic at the end of games if a team goes on the PP and pulls their goalie to try and get a goal.

Flames played smart. Boring, but smart. They outworked us and clogged up the middle of the ice. Got a few lucky goals and that was that. I think some of you overstate the importance of the game. I said before that is was a "must-point", not a must-win. We just had a chance to get closer to the teams above us, while increasing the gap to the teams below. Instead the opposite happens. Still plenty of time to make up for this loss though. However anything more than an 8th seed is slowly slipping out of the realm of possiblity.

This isn't the game it comes down to. This was a chance for the Wings to get some distance down to 9th and possibly get as high as 7th. The way it's looking now they'll have to continue to fight with the Flames for 8th. They have another game against them soon, that'll be even more important, that could really be the make-or-break game.

I hate, hate, hate when Ken and Mickey talk about how some player hasn't scored for a long time, or hasn't score against us for a long time. They always end up scoring.
