Wrong, he was playing awesome from like a few weeks into the season up until he was injured. He wasn't putting up crazy points or anything but he was looking the best I've seen him since 07-08. Right now he is putting up points but not looking too good. But he is carrying around Bert and J-Wil.

Feels like every Wing is skating around with a Flames player constantly on their back. Very hard-fought game, no space at all. Not a lot of fun to watch but atleast we're not giving up many chances. Gotta take advantage of the PP, I have a feeling that will be key in this game.

Pretty good start to the game by the Wings. Kipper looks like he's fighting the puck a bit, we need to have guys crashing the net to get on the rebounds.

I guess I would be okay with that roster. But DHE needs to be our 4th line. Abdelkader is a better fit on the 3rd. And I would be surprised if Maltby, Lidstrom and Holmstrom all come back. Lids at 4.5 is optimistic. I'm thinking maybe 1 year at 5-6 mil, IF he decides to continue. Or maybe I'm pessimistic.

But if we lose to the Hawks it will be all about how "the torch has been passed" and how they are the new Wings, Keith is the new Lidstrom and so on. Although I guess there's no scenario in which a playoff exit doesn't hurt.

I thought it was very weird that Hudler wasn't selected for the Czech team. It's not like they were stacked or anything. Getting him back next year would be perfect.. really, we need to pick up a good 2nd line scorer anyway and why not Hudler who we already know and who has proven chemistry with Filppula. Next year's top 6: Datsyuk-Zetterberg-Franzen Hudler-Filppula-..Cleary?
