after last nights game i'm slowly coming to understand and feel good if we dont make the playoffs. it will be painful and a looong offseason, but i'll live. since tigers are on my s***list, might not be sports then til training camp.

i remember my brother,sister, and I would always play street hockey with the neighborhood kids. we had the net and sticks always. my sister and i were always the goalies. loved yelling car and trying to scramble to the curb. the best part was i live in a court, so it was kind of shaped like a rink.

i think i officially became a fan in 97', in 5th grade. My first hockey game i watched was with my dad and it was wings vs. av's. Draper was driven into the boards and beat on by Claude Lemieux. McCarty ganged up and retaliated on Lemieux. Mac was my fav player then. drapes was and always will be a fav to me. also since then i've always loved hockey fights.. have loved the wings ever since.. :goalie2: first game i went to at the joe, was vs dallas in 99'. brett hull was against the wings, he has always been a favorite of mine too. it was upper bowl, but pretty good seats. my uncle and aunt got tickets for them and my dad and I, a birthday present.

cheer for the ducks. only when its wings vs ducks do i have a problem, but i mostly cheer for wings. i bleed red and white.

ericsson might be returning tonight.

i'd be happy to see ericsson back thursday. that is if he is 100% or pretty close to that. not if he feels great and good to play. i'm sure the training staff (van zant) knows this. so also for my birthday game (feb 13) i might/hopefully see a full healthy roster..according to the website

A few months later, they're now known within the team as Lloyd Christmas (Helm) and Harry Dunne, the delightfully bumbling best friends of the movie "Dumb and Dumber." The nicknames were bestowed by Kris Draper and Kirk Maltby, who sounded like a comedy routine as they laughed and explained their reasoning. "Well, sit beside them and you'll find out," Draper said. "Do a piece on them where you have to spend a lot of time with them, you'll see," Maltby said. "But you know, we actually changed the movie to 'Dumb and Dumbest,' " Draper said. "They're Harry and Lloyd, and you know what, the more of these road trips we're on, they live up to the billing." But Helm and Abdelkader, who room together on the road, take the ribbing in stride. hopefully in a week another injured wing is back- It appears the Red Wings defense will be bolstered maybe as soon as in a week, as big Jonathan Ericsson is getting closer to returning. Ericsson hasn't played since suffering a bruised knee Dec. 14, but he's been skating and is improving. "I feel better," he said Friday. "I feel a lot better on the ice, like, stronger - I can push more and my strides are getting better. So I just need to get my full range of motion back and then I'm good to go." Ericsson estimated he'd be back in 7-10 days.

true. doctors warn you before they give the medicine, not to take before opperating a car. (or mine did after i had surgery) also told not to take prescription medicine(cold medicine) and drink alcohol shortly after.. which there are people that do this not caring, like people have said about those drinking and stil drivng. sadly people are going to do what they want, regardless of what happens to them. with cheli, i'm pretty sure this isn't a first time he's had a DUI. if he wasn't a sports star i'm pretty sure this topic wouldn't be carried out like this..
