    Anyone remember last year on July 1st. Some moron made a topic saying "Wings sign Marian Hossa." I was like yeah right, and of course it was fake. And then the next day, I wake up and see Wings sign Marian Hossa. I was like WTF, why is this still on here, but it was true this time. Someone needs to make a false thread so I can wake up tomorrow and see the real one.

    I'm just impatient, but actually it's not that complicated. Take a huge pay cut to play for a great team or go for the big bucks. It's a really tough decision, but not that complicated.

    Quick question...Is Hossa in Detroit still or is he in Slovakia? If he is in Slovakia, what's the time change and what would that mean for times that he would be awake to finalize a deal?

    If Kenny is only offering around $4 mil and Hossa wants $6 mil, it shouldn't take long for Kenny to realize a deal isn't going to happen. If this was the case, I think we would have heard some kind of news saying the Wings are shopping Hossa, since another team is going to need time before free angency to negotiate. The longer it goes without news, the more it makes me think they're in serious negotiations and he will sign.

    here is a crazy idea that will never happen... assuming Lidstrom retires after next season, Hossa, Zetterberg, and Franzen each sign 1 yr, $5 mill deals. This fits under the cap (hopefully), and then they can get the raises they deserve after Lidstrom's salary is off the books. Just my way to hope that we can keep all 3.
