i dont undestand why the pack wouldnt want pennignton as a vetran back up the jes obviously didnt want him so it doesnt make great sense for the pack to not just say hey toss pennington in the deal along wit the pick but it looks like itll be at least a 3rd rounder maybe a 2nd but i dont see it as a first i dont think the jets can beat out the chargers or pats for a SB bid

i figured this deserved its own thread but finally hes traded to the jets still havent heard on what the jets gave up but i assume pennington and a pick or two the jets look better now not great but better than 4 wins i still woulda liked to see him in minnasota that woulda been interesting im a lions fan so it woulda been a big loss twice but cmon its the lions its another 7-9 season at best im expecting 5 or 6 wins tho lol

i agree with the nash being overrated thing living in a columbus market i see him play from time to time and im not at all sayin hes not very good but talk to some of the BJ's fans around here they will say hes the top 5 best foreward in the leagge which he is NOT idc if dats is his center sundin lecavlier (spelling) crosby any of these guys as a center i dont think the guy wll crack 90 points in his career

i just dont understand y we dont let howard have some back up role his wins and loses not the greatest but everytime i see him play hes been great with the exeption of one game in atlanta i believe it was during his rookie year i understand we have a capable back up in Conklin with more experience but i think jimmy deserves a shot

nothing to major there outside of radulov jagr and emery and those last two are not all that special maybe one day if they landed a malkin like player then it would be some cause fo concern

i do agree zherdev i think would be happier scoring a bunch of fancy goals gettin paid and never winning or havein the pressure of winning a chmpionship f he had some determination and the want to win he could be a great player

i know zherdev had some issues in colmbo but at the draft the guys coering it made the comment of russian players ebing willing to run back home if they dislike it here they also pointed that filitov knew the language already which was to his advantage but they also made a very good point in that zherdev was there..another russian and i thought those two could really help each other thats y the Zherdev deal struck me as a questonable move i just thought those two could compliment eachother nicely

as good of a young talent as this kid is i dont see the jckets makein the playoffs i lived in columbus teh last 2 years so ill occasianoly catch a game on tv and it seemed like as soon as they added somone this offseason they got rid of an equal talent i want the BJ's to improve maybe id make hockey more wide spread in this area cause its hard to find a league to play for cause theres no hockey buzz in this city so no kids really want to play but back on subject a good young talent i still say BJ's are at least a year or 2 away from playoffs

i personaly like the z Dats Hossa rafi and lids line lots of offensive talent but can shut u down on D just as easy then take the puck down the ice score laugh in ur face and then do it some more good luck shutting down that line

as long is his destination wasnt detroit im happy but i am a bit suprised no NHL team took a shot on him hes not a bad goalie wasnt he in net when ottawa beat detroit this year i believe he played well that game too but i may be wrong
