I meant more about when every other cable provider paid for the Viacom channels DirecTV chose not to and customers started leaving in droves. That's probably been dealt with now, no idea I'm in Canada.

His personal situation is much better, i think he has now been sober for 2 years so his attitude has turned around. I think he knows where he stands that the Wings offered what you could liken to a lifeline and he will have to compete for his spot.

People have been talking about this they were discussing it on TSN but unless people picket arenas some people will show up. In reality it won't happen... though it will happen in Nashville and Phoenix even without a lockout

I tend to agree - though i hope it would extend to the Xbox and PS3 apps as well. It would wind up being a bit of a win-win. You sign up so they have info about you but don't charge you this year whilst still being made to look like they are giving back to the Fans. It's a PR winner.

Not the best way to go about it dragging the gretzky name through the mud but yeah he was caught preading a clearly false rumour from an account of a guy who claims to catch scammers - so not very bright either.

I think we will be competitive with what we have, I don't think that's an issue. I don't think we win the cup with any moves we make at this point so I don't want to blow the cap overpaying players.

Gustafsson was in Toronto all year, not Winnipeg. Toronto traded his rights to Winnipeg in late June who did bugger all with it. So Toronto don't get their draft pick in return now I assume. However he had a crap team in front of him in Toronto too. -
The mooseheads are my local team and Martin Frk is a great pick for 49. He has had injury problems but he is a point producer. I hope he gets ot stay in the Q for anothe ryear or so so I can still watch him play but he will be another great late pick for the wings mark my words. Now if only we can find a way to get Zach Fucale or Nathan Mackinnon in next years draft from the mooseheads I'll be laughing.

i say do some ground work to get a 1st rounder next year and chase mackinnon. that kid is going to be a superstar. Makes the rest of the players in the QMJHL look like kids on the ice.
