Big fan of this signing. I don't think he'll ever be the "monster" in the NHL but the guy has size and ability to be a good backup or tandem goalie with good d in front of him -

Having watched Nashville for a while I'll respectfully disagree with the bad defensive tag. I think he's ok defensively and is not a liability on the ice. No doubt there are other players out there, but bit seems everyone wants a guy who has never done anything over or on the edge in their career -

I am so happy with this signing even to just upset everyone's perfect red wings apple cart. Tootoo brings snarl, hitting and intensity something the wings lack and something I'll enjoy watching. Would everyone prefer some small soft skilled player to this guy on the fourth line? Come on men this is hockey -
Parros is an awesome awesome guy goes alpuppy iis honest and a respectable player and hasnt been a liability I wish Jim all the best. Seems like he's an awesome off Ice guy

Ughhhhhh god damnit no Prust? Add Samuelson? God help me I do t think Samuelson brings much, to me he brings absolutely 0 entertainment value would have preferred Prust parros someone who at least does one thing real well or gives it his all. Why did I get my hopes up? -
I think he'll stay with the devils but he's consistently signed for a discount I think it may be a ploy on his part to get a decent amount of cash in what is likely his final contract

I'm a huge quick fan so I'm biased, but quick had every advantage over the kings. Lombardi wasn't in a great spot especially with the whole doughty situation. Either way I think quick will be good for six or seven years or more. I'd lock a great goalie like him for that period of time even if he declines later

Im not a franzen lover however I take him for what he is. He's never gonna be a hard working power forward like gezlaf and the like. The guy has a nice shot good stride and a nose for the net. I'm not a fan of his softness and wouldn't oppose a trade. For me franzen is what he hs and will never be what he's not.Sure there re harder working players and better options, but it looks like we're stuck with him. His contract is also bad
