What's left to prove? We've made it to the conference finals three years in a row; we've made it to the Stanley Cup finals two years in a row, winning one of them. Could this year's mediocre start be a mental thing, given that we've done--relative to the rest of the league--so much in the past three years? I'm not leaning to any kind of premature assessment of the entire season, but the general consensus on the season is that we're not focusing for sixty minutes every game. Thoughts?

agreed. i can understand all of those invites except for (sorta) fleury and mason. oswell definitely deserved a shot at it, and with stevie at the helm, i thought there might've been a chance. i'm only disappointed for him; i'd rather see him rest up and not put more mileage in the books. also, i don't know which country to root for... seeing pavel get a gold medal might be nice. then there's babs and cleary... or rafalski.
