i think what a lot of you are missing here is perspective. every fan base has its jerks--even detroit does (my friend was heckled by other wings "fans" for carrying a wings player's stick). i remember right after the conference finals in '09 the hawks fan in front of me turned around and shook me hand, saying that it was a good game and good luck.

definitely check out cheli's chili for the experience. the food itself isn't fabulous, but the atmosphere and memorabilia is very cool to take in.

absolutely not. red wings pride themselves on tradition and shouldn't rely on cheap tactics to boost sweater sales.

did anyone see that blackhawks commercial where each star declares one word that'll define the season? hoss's shows a clip of the wings eliminating the hawks in the WCF and he says, with a serious face, "revenge." ?! who's the genius that paired him with that?
