i'm really inclined to believe in guys on our team that aren't producing as well as others. this is because i trust the red wings brass in their judgment, who, ostensibly, know a hell of a lot more than us.

i don't necessarily think that it's a bad thing if they (boston and san jose) keep on winning until the end of the season. if they never face adversity in the regular season, so much the worse for them when teams truly turn it on and give each other all they've got.

it'll be good for us to be reminded that we need to work to win every game what's more, i think it'll be good if san jose and boston continue to ride the unicorn of endless wins and see everything through rose-coloured glasses, believing that the wins will just come.

i don't think it's ridiculous to claim allegiance to only one team. i don't hold the belief that the wings absolutely deserve to win 82 games a season, nor do i believe that all other teams can go to hell. i have a lot of respect for other teams in the league and am not prone to homerism of any sort.

it was proposed once (i'm not sure where) that the teams that finish 9th should have the highest chance of getting a first overall pick. that way, teams won't be rewarded for dreadful play. i think this system works better than the current one. -
