Even on the season he's +25, that's pretty sweet.

He has a REALLY decent +/- he can't be all that bad on the backend.

Anyone checking out the Washington game? Mike Green is ridiculous. I don't know how his defensive game is, but s***, that guy has a knack for scoring goals.

Hudler HAS huge potential & I love him. But Hossa IS huge potential. He is a force. & it seems like he's only getting better.

BOTTOM LINE: If we have to give up three or less players (that we could easily replace with Griffins) in order to keep Franzen & Hossa, MAKE IT HAPPEN.

Would you rather have Sammy & Flip over Franzen & Hossa? Becareful how you answer, or you might be insane.

I don't think Ken Holland would give Nick more than a 2 year contract at this stage. & I'm sure Nick would playout his contract.

You realize that they're going to retire if we keep Hossa & Franzen or not? & when players do retire, their salary comes off the books. Also, we're talking about Griffins that could be full time first or second liners on more than half the teams in the NHL. (IE QUINCY)

Does anyone realize that we're talking about MARIAN ******* HOSSA?! The guy wants to stay. They guy's willing to take a pay cut. He's a goddamned machine. I love Franzen I want them both. But... MARIAN HOSSA! I really think he's found his place now. On a line where he can move around & control the flow. & like I've said from the beginning put The Hank & Pavel Show back together, they just feed off of each other. Marian is just fine on his own.

I've never enjoyed a broadcast as much. Even on road trips when Mickey's not there, I'm bummed. Speaking of broadcasts, remember PASS? Haha.

I'll tell you one thing. My wife watches the game with me here & there. One day, it was on VS. & she said, "These guys are terrible! What happened to the excitement?" That's when I realized that when I'm alone I cheer with Ken & Mickey. But when it's on VS. it's so mundane. I love Ken & Mickey. They're the Datsyuk & Zetterberg of announcers. They're the perfect balance of homerism & nonhomerism. They'll let you know when there's a lame penalty that was called or when one wasn't either way. But they'll be happier if its in the Wings favor. I love them.

Now, I believe this whole fighting issue is being completely blown out of proportion. Because of one unfortunate incident, there's a chance that fighting in hockey may be prohibited. Do you think that the kid that died would have wanted this? I don't think so. But if it must be discussed, I can see this as something the players could actually regulate themselves; part of the unwritten code. I can picture players letting up as soon as they see someones helmet off. So, this might be the way to go if any.

I need to go home & watch my DVDs now. I remember so much more than wasn't in there (ie. Datsyuk fighting Roberts). Thanks for that.
