Okay. People still aren't getting it. I can sum it up like this. Yes, we're the best team in the league. But, our team last year could beat our team this year.

Not 6-0 necessarily. But, 40-27 shots is Red Wings hockey. I'd be happy with 30-25 right now.

The rest of that is more along the lines of what I was looking for. You really think it's just the cup hangover? I guess I've hoping that by now, that'd be done with. Babs or Lidstrom or somebody would have hopefully slapped them out of it. I am worried we'll be playing like this come playoff time. Hopefully not, & hopefully it is just the cup hangover & hopefully we'll beat the snot out of people like we should be.

Look at the picture. Look closely. Look at both teams that played. Look at the numbers of each period. Our boys, who were on average, only out shot once or twice a season, were just held to under 20 shots in regulation by the Blues & gave up almost 20 in the third period alone. & we've been outshot several times this season. Something is wrong. W. R. O. N. G. Wrong.

But the way we're getting are W's right now isn't going to cut it in the playoffs. Look, I've already said it. You can point out the record to me all you want. I understand we have a sweet team. I understand it's "only" February. I understand we're still going to make the playoffs. My point is that something is urking me & I don't know what it is. I guess I don't really know what I was expecting everyone to say in response. But if you can't see that something isn't right, well fine. Maybe I'm an asshat.

This wasn't a goalie thread. I don't necessarily believe it's all on the goaltending. This was a "WTF IS WRONG" thread.

Because we've only played THREE good games all season. Not four.

Yeah. Sure, we've had some good games along the way. Maybe like 3. It takes four out of seven to do it in the playoffs.

Problem is we won't be playing St Louis in the playoffs. We'll be playing teams that are good.

I do understand. No one said we're the worst team in the league. I didn't call us the "Dead Wings'. Take a look at the picture up top. Then go through the stats & tell me the last time that's happened. I bet it was the 80's. What I'm talking about is winning a Stanley Cup & we're not going to do it like this.

We've had the annual hiccup all season. That is one serious case of hiccups. Go ahead & point out the record all you want. This isn't the same as the past. s***'s happening that I've never seen before. & it's been happening all year. & right now, I don't have season tickets. But win or lose, if I had the money, I'd buy them in a heartbeat.

I don't think anyone understand how bad we've been this year compared to the past. Yeah, we've squeaked out some wins, but really, you think everything's fine? Say what you will about a panic button & the end of the world post. I'm telling you ******* right now. Something is wrong & you're all too blind to see it.

Do you realize that if we didn't go into overtime, we would have only had 19 shots?! I can't remember ever seeing that happen to our boys.
