Overall this season he's been pretty impressive, he's had a few games were things were bad but you can tell he's got alot of talent. At the very least he is as good as ericsson if not better.

x2 s*** happens if you got them all right Wings would win 82 games a year and there would be no reason to watch.
-
Look they know the deal by now, they understand the pacing of a season and playoffs. Its been nearly 20 years of playoff runs and they know it. Recently every season has had a period of games where they constantly start flat and just generally play at 70%. Add in Joey Mac in net and a very very good Sharks team and the outcome is not too surprising. The problems they have had of late are related to execution not skill level or talent.

Wings will win 3-1, new motivation will make all the difference.
-
Its so funny because they will be in 2nd or 3rd place and take a dive for 5-10 games and people just go nuts. All of the sudden all the players suck and all need to be traded. In 08 I seem to remember they played some terrible hockey right before the playoffs and fans were having a meltdown talking about a first round sweep. Its a long season and sometimes your just going to suck for a little while.

Roster is fine, the problem is you have to go and work hard while also playing a smart game. Right now they aren't doing either consistently for 60 mins. They will be fine and long term if they can right this ship say ten games out of the playoffs everything is in the right place.
-
All that matters is they get their s*** in order before the playoffs. They can play excellent D the execution however has been horrible. Want to see the D lock down and help Howard out, he needs to be confident and Nabby plus his play of late isn't helping. 2-0 wings.

quoted for truth its hockey if you don't like occasional bulls*** watch baseball or something.

I played with a guy who had a similar injury and couldn't really play again because he couldn't grip the stick tight enough. Ehh everyone is different only thing you can do is wait and see. I have faith in Kenny if he sees this as a long term problem he'll fix it.

My wife only watches a few games a year and mentioned that she has never seen babcock smiling and can't figure out how anyone can tell what kind of mood he's in. I told her its by how much gum he's chewing, anytime something goes poorly he puts another stick in.

Oil got blown out tuesday so I would expect quite the effort from them. I saying 4-3 with goals from Franzen, Kronwall, Cleary and Homer.
-
Just remember its November and if you can get Hudler playing well he's going to put up more points then Miller, Abs or Eaves. I like all those guys alot more at least right now than Hudler but he has a scoring ability that they do not. This is a short term sacrifice against a s***ty team with the hope that you can get happy moving in the right direction.

He really developed his game over the off season, he really has figured out how to protect the puck and use his strength to shield. Honestly his game last night against the Yotes was probably the best he's played....he could be dangerous on the 3rd line.
-
Wings sort of dominated but one of those nights where you play 56 great minutes and 4 terrible ones. Kindl has been pretty good all things considered. The 3rd line is disappointing but be patient they are good players just not clicking yet. Zetter was incredible and Datsyuk was pretty ******* good as well.
-
Lija has made the Ducks D better than the first time we saw them.
-
Zetterberg is on fire tonight
-
I counted 7 giveaways and a couple of passes that were just too hot, clean that s*** up and they are all over the avs
-
Wings need to clean their game up five straight transitions were stuffed on bad passes out of the zone
-
Avs are loosey goosey but playing all out on the forecheck, Wings must be strong on the counter and this game ends quickly.
-
Unleash the FRANZEN!!!!
-
Dude night in night out for many years and many cups went out and put it all on the line. What he perhaps lacked in talent he made up with hard work and 100% commitment, that's not a slight if your in the NHL your one of the best 700 players of hockey in the world. The DRW and all wings fans were lucky to have Maltby, his skills were not score sheet type skills and will be hard to replace.
-
good start, great game for Flip
-
Wings PK has been awesome, 6 mins is a long time.
-
That was a funny play but a goal is a goal

I haven't missed a game in like 3 years, first game I don't get to see because I'm far from home and Datsyuk scraps with Perry......... Sounds like Howard had a good night.
