What this team lacks is consistency and everyone playing their game every night like professionals ought to. You can't have 2-3 guys play to their potential on any given night and the rest taking a night off. If they all played consistently to their potential, OP would be right.

Of course, I'd want a victory and I'm not trying to be pessimistic but if they lose, that will be the kind of yo yo - win one lose one pattern that will drive me crazy. Who is in net? I have a feeling that Babs will put Ozzie in goal ... back to back and an away game ... away from pressure of home fans.

Very possible. Imagine if his wife knows even less English than Dats. Let's face it, Detroit is not the nicest place to live. And if there isn't a Russian community in Detroit for her to hang out with, Dats is travelling all the time, it could feel like hell for her, no matter how much hubby is making. For all those Russian Rubles, maybe she can treat Detroit as a home for 8 months of the year and go back to Russia in the off season.

Joy ... like watching paint dry . I remember a condensed time elapsed video of the rink going up in Chicago last year, that was neat to see.

Can't argue with the stats ... improvement in some very key areas especially defense. BUT you can't win a game without scoring a goal ... case in point, last night. So .. keep up the good defensive effort and boyz, let's aim a bit when putting a SOG.
