Not likely a half decent offer from another team. Who would want Bert's lazy arse? Wonder why Calgary didn't resign him. One of the worst decision by Holland. As for who else at 1.5 mill could we have gotten? Hindsight is 20/20 but how about Prospal (Rangers) or even the other guy on that Canucks line Morrison (Washington). -
Only consolation is that had we won, we'd have 25 pts (instead of 24 pts) and just be in 7th place instead of 8th ... not that much difference. But I'm still pissed.

Another vote for Malkin. Record speak for itself when he is out of lineup vs. when Crosby is out of lineup. That and plus he is less whiny.

I've always felt that 82 games was a bit too much. Why don't we shorten the season to 70-74 games and get playoffs started earlier and end earlier? What do you think as a fan? Maybe players will last longer as well. I know there is no chance that GM's will suggest this but maybe NHLPA ... if they ever get their act together.

Lots of history with Anaheim, needed game 7 last year in 2nd round to beat them but beat them we did. Considering where we are in the standings and where they are ... wow, can't complain about being 8th. Anyhow, bad blood tonight and Wings squeak out a win 4-3.

It's awfully quiet here in Vancouver ... I love it when the Wings take it to the Canucks !! Afterwards, even Luongo had to give Kudos for Z's winning goal. In pregame, Luongo said, 'Yah, I'm looking forward to coming back and having Holmstrom drape all over me for 60 mins' ... Oh, this is a GOOD day.
