This can't be happening. Wings were chosen to play in Sweden because NHL thought that we would be motivated to play well here. This is suppose to be our 2nd home. Leaving Sweden 2-0 to St. Louis ??!!

Sweden is the Wings other home arena. We better get a split. If we don't win tomorrow and come home 0-2 ... this will be a LONG season.

It's not so much that Ozzie lost one game or the opener. It's more like he reminds us of the Ozzie of last year regular season. What we need to see is something different that will give us a sliver of hope that he won't repeat last year's regular season play. Up 3-1 and lost 4-3, can't seem to shut it down. 4 goals on 23 shots.

Wow, everyone is just talking about the forwards. We definitely have the best corps out there, I'd put our group with any other group out there including the remade San Jose Sharks. We have 3 if not 4 lines that can score. BUT ... no one else think that our biggest problem next year is depth in goal?

I'm not sure if we can win with this group. I have no problems with forwards and defencemen. I've got a bad feeling about the outshoot the opponent by a wide margin SOG 45-19 and cross your fingers that no more than 3 goes in our net strategy. In the words of Babcock, we don't have a backup that can win us 25 games. I think the deficiency in goal will really show itself this year. Last year Conk helped us out a lot but Howard? Cloutier? Larson?
