Final comment. At the start of the series, I didn't think we'd get past TB given how we played leading into playoffs. But once the series started and we were more than keeping with them, it looked like we could take this. So mighty disappointed that it slipped away from us, blew game 4 and game 6. Last game for Babs ... seriously, he is a bit overrated. I don't think he got more out of this roster than they are on paper ... they are a 1st round one and done type of team which is exactly what happened. Not a bit bummed out if he decides to take a 'different challenge'.

If Z retires, would we be hit with lots of cap for rest of his contract? Oh sh*t, just checked, he's signed till 2020-21.

Probably been said but who is this undrafted Tyler Johnson kid? Damn that Stevie Y ... he learned to draft these hidden gems. This kid tied Stamkos in points in regular season.

3-2 Wings ... a barn burner in the final minute but Mrazek hangs on, that's my hopeful prediction. However, I'm actually quite impressed with the heart and soul shown in this series, even in the lost in game 6. This is the kind of effort I was looking for down the stretch in the regular season. If they play hard and lose to TB ... then it's hockey, the better team won. Let's hope it's not one of those puck luck games where we get 42 shots and they get 16 and we lose 2-1.
