I chose Mtl to win but still, that was a BS play by Subban. So he doesn't break any bones but fractures something, Stone will play but assume he won't be the same ... he wasn't the rest of the game and effectively, Subban has taken out their best player. Here, I think we apply an eye for an eye, ref takes Stone and Subban to center ice and let Stone has one free whack at Subban anywhere he likes ... then continue with game.

It appears that Babs has Mrazek in mind because he started him in the final and crucial game of the season. Not like Howie needed the rest. And plus, Mrazek played well, he got a shutout. So, in light of the above, I put all my chips in and say that Babs puts Howie in net for game 1.

In order to call the season a success or not, we have to wait to see how the team performs in the playoffs. Success equals bettering than last year. Failure means doing the same or worst Last year, we got in (with a lesser talented roster than this year) and were outplayed and lost to Boston in 5. In order for this season to be a success, we have to do better than that. I would like to see us get into 2nd round, even if we lose in 2nd, that's still progress = success. If we lose again in round 1 ... then I think it's a wash. So, let me get back to you after round 1.
