What a bore and yawner ... there is no electricity in the atmosphere. Sorry but hockey was not meant to be played outdoors in LA. NHL gaffed this one badly ... let's see tomorrow but already, I feel that the novelty is diminshing rapidly. Glad we got the classic. What a joke ... in our classic, we had 2 alumni games. In LA, they had a media and movie stars game ... wtf????

Only if we ride the Monster till he slumps and not try to 'get Howie going' experiment? We don't have much more time to do that, we've got to fight for a playoff spot. Get into the playoffs and if Gus falters, then go with Howie cuz by then, Howie will be awoken from his slumber.

We are officially in a free fall .... Why couldn't the hockey gods put us in the metropolitan division? ... actually, even that wouldn't help right now, we'd still be outside looking in.

Just saw the highlights on NHL ... boy, there were 2 defensive brain farts out there ... DeKeyser was one, I didn't see who the other one was. Gave the puck to an open Kings player ... Howie saved both. Got to fix that! Wait, where is Gus if Mrazek is starting and JH is backup?

I must say that I am pleasantly surprised. Now what is frustrating is why can't we play like this on most nights ... I'm a realist and I'm not asking for every night but 80% of the time would be good.

Kenny is falling into the middle of the pack too. Some really bad decisions as of late to give Babcock crap to work with. Eg. we have got to stop wasting $$ and cap space on dead wood like Cleary, Samuelsson, Bertuzzi, And Kenny has got to do better with free agent signings ... Weiss, Quincey are not cutting it. Give the young kids who are hungry some more ice time.

Don't know where to start ... we are crap, good luck USA but Howie is probably 3rd goalie so he'll be opening the door for the forwards and D's. Good night Howie. Even Babcock has to agree that he is sucking.
