Even though we are getting outplayed in the 1st, if Jimmey can hold them off and we can keep it 0-0 after one period, it might really frustrate Toews. If Toews get all frustrated then it affects the whole team ... then we got this!

I'm glad that a bench warmer is taking up $5 mill cap on their roster. God know who the hell else they can convince to join them if they had that cap space ... No to OP's idea ... although I think the Monster is actually terrible ... even as a backup. His stats are horrible and whenever he starts, I count it a loss ... once in a blue moon, he surprises me but just terribly inconsistent.

When he is ready to go ... we should build a shrine for him and give him a cushy job with the Wings for life.

So, the big news here locally is that the Canucks are going to press 'reset' ... whatever that means. There is cry for any and everyone including trade the Sedins. Just wondering if you guys think there is anyone here that might be able to solidify the Wings next year? Only possibility might be Edler or Burrows. Edler - Swedish, maybe he can do well in our system? Burrows is a feisty forward No to Booth, Raymond, Ballard, Bieska.
