This feels almost like a game 7 of a series. Pretty pumped, our boys showed that they can do it for the past 3 games. Only X factor is a relatively 'new' goalie ... sometimes in their debut, they play lights out. But if we pepper him with 35+ shots, we should pull out the win. I hope they pull the goalie if we're tied with a couple of minutes left, makes it easy for us to score the EN. How about if we are winning by 3+ goals, we pull the goalie in the last 30 seconds to try to run the score on them to say screw you ! Actually, I'm cheering for Colorado to play spoiler. Would love to see Minny get 9th and Columbus makes it in at 8th. Seeing how they came out last night 'gainst Edmonton ...didn't think they could lose 2 in a row but it could be a very real possibility.

Somewhere between 48 and 84 ... maybe in the 60+ game range would be nice.

I want to see the % chance of getting into the playoffs after tonight. We are currently sitting at 78.8%. Minny was at 90.4% FWIW

Columbus and Detroit deserve the 7th and 8th. Minny has been trending down but not likely that they will lose 2. But you never know, if they lose the 1st one, the pressure might get to them. Columbus, Det, Minny already in playoff mode.

What is league stats for teams that score 3 or more? Sure 16-0-2 is impressive but I bet that league stats will reveal that 90%+ win for any team that score 3 or more... Exception Philly

Just checked the standings today. Before trade deadline, I was pretty confident that we would make it in but today not very confident at all. Edmonton is getting hot. We know what St. Louis did to bolster their roster. Columbus added a piece and can get streaky. There is always Nashville. This might be the year that our guys get the longest summer ever. Holland didn't do enough.

Tap into that home ice win streak last year and pull off 3 in a row! Truth is Phoenix is only 2 pts behind us so we're pretty even.

Holland was the best GM in the mid 1990's to 2010 era. He is a bit behind the 'best GM's' in the 2011 and beyond period.
