Ilitch should sanction ("foot the bill") for Kenny or Babs to go on a public rant about this incident. This will of course, force the NHL's hand to 'discipline'/fine the GM or coach something ridiculous like $10K and this will really show how effed up this league has gotten. A rant about the hit would result in a $10K fine or more, whereas Weber was fined $2.5K. I only hope that this is the turning point for the series (like Rome's hit on Horton last year in the SCF) and that Red Wings will play out of their minds and whoop their dirty asses, preferably in 5 in their home arena. I was pissed after the incident and now even more so after the ruling.

Too bad Babs didn't see the play, this really deserved a coach getting on top of the railing and yelling at Trotz. Trotz's post game comments were pitiful, Weber's chuckle when reporter asked him about the hit was ****** like ... maybe this will bring on the hate from the boys and light a fire under their arses.

Not if you were just shown the future, like we have in this simulation ... Yah, I like to see their algorithm. I like to see EA do a simulation with the actual teams that are in the playoffs. Last year, they did the same thing, predicted the correct 2 teams but got the winners wrong. EA predicted Pittsburgh at the beginning of the season btw.

I respect the ironman mentality of Cleary and declaring himself available but ultimately isn't it the coach's decision to sit him or not? Sometimes I find that Babcock rather play 50% injured player than to call up a healthy young guy. I question that but obviously he knows more than me. I'd like him to call up someone like a Helm and Abelkater in years past, but do we have any more of those in the Griffins?

Preds with nothing to play for is leading Colorado 3-1. Shows me that they got it and we don't ... we had something to play for and notta. I'll watch every game and hope that the Wings win but if I take off my homer glasses, I think it will be a short series, Preds in 5.

Once it was tied, we were going to be in 5th. No way Nashville lose to Colorado if 4th place was on the line. Not feeling great about our seeding ... good thing is that I can only be pleasantly surprised by the outcome of round 1.

I heard (rumour) that refs get docked $$ if they miss obvious calls like off sides. I wonder if those 4 ref's wallets are a bit lighter ...

Clowe is a tool ... please do not defend the refs on this one nightfall. Apparently, since it involved the bench, even the linesmen could have called it. That makes it 4 people that missed it.
