But what about the Rangers, they spent $12 mill on the biggest free agent this summer, Brad Richards? Only real thing locked down is Columbus will win the Toilet Trophy, it'd be hard for them to lose that. Followed closely by Edmonton again ... speaking of which, how many terrible years do you need to turn a team around .... damn, it looks like they've been having the top pick like 3 years in a row.

How come there's been not much talk about the extent of injury? Not just a simple bruise ... any more details or did I miss it? Is it a high ankle sprain? Is something broken?

The only thing that makes me feel remotely better ... and not by much is that the local Canucks have been losing just as much BUT they don't have excuse of injuries. We are 3-6-1 in our last 10 games ... wake up million dollar lazy players and start behaving like professionals. If the Pittsburgh Penguins can play hard every night, so can you!

Well, as much as I don't like the Leafs, the truth is that they have a thread on a Detroit Red Wings board with 18 pages long ... because of the love them or hate them nature of the Leafs, people care.

I just think that Nashville is a pretty physical team and even though I think Det would win, not sure you want to get out of 1st round battered and injured to face next opponent. The 4 rounds is a game of attrition to see how many healthy players you have left at the SCF. Look at how banged up we are now, looks like we have a hard time taking Columbus into overtime.
