I'm from Vancouver and pleeeeeze ... just win. Last time I was at the game when Detroit was in town and we lost so please everyone, show up and play a 60 mins (or 65 if necessary) game. I really want this W to silence all the homer fans. Good thing is we get Luongo (after ASB, known to be cold) instead of Schneider ... haha.

Please do give Jimmy the night off but don't everyone else take a night off on the ice. I hate these games with the bottom half of the Conference because they have the greatest potential for a disappointment. Show up everyone and this should be another 7-2 ... for us.

Goalies are the most useless position in an ASG weekend. 1. During drafting, they have to specify when they are picked (or else they'd be the last group to be picked). 2. They are hardly or never used in the skills ... in the past, they used some college/AHL goalie for shootout because they are 'suppose' to let the puck go in. 3. Then in the actual game, there is no defense and the score is usually double digits. Every goalie lets in a few goals per period.

2nd year of this format and it is getting old already ... non of the players has character, no one talked smack, they were all so politically correct and polite ... :zzz: ... when the chics handing out the jerseys get more chatter than the actual draft.

At this rate, it will be 12-0 by the end.

OK ... let's take a deep breath and chip away at this. Get 2 in the 2nd and get 2 in the 3rd, aim for 1 pt and see what happens in OT.

Sh*T ... now we know which team showed up. Embarrassing because we're on NBC and the only show in town tonight. Guys mailing it in before All Star break ... saw it coming.

My fear is that when our team doesn't have anything to play for, they lack a bit of mojo since they will be 1st regardless but I'm hoping I'm wrong and they put it all out there before their mini break.

Right thing to do. If you're suspended from regular games, why should you go to ASG? That and OV didn't want the embarrassment of being picked last while filmed by Kessel .

I'm going to say : 1. Vancouver 2. St. Louis 3. San Jose 4. Detroit 5. Chicago 6. Nashville 7. LA 8. Up for grabs but I'll go out on a limb and say Anaheim We win in 1st round.
