This guy is just so fun to watch. I love how he is getting attention all around the league as one of the best players both regular season and playoffs. Him and Flip has really good energy together. We got one ill Russian ... the best, I'd take him over Ovechkin. Really, a sprained wrist from that douchebag ... all the more reason for me to hate Jumbo Jim. I'll be happy if Bieska put the hurt on that guy .

I have to agree that the boys showed a lot of heart down 0-3. No question, it was a helluva ride for game 4-7. I don't question that they had it. BUT my only point would be that they should have played like game 5 & 6 in games 1,2,& 3. Game 6 was the Red Wings that we all love ... if they only brought that earlier on.

If you look at the whole series, you've got to be pleased with how our team showed fight and heart after going down 0-3. But if you look at this game, there are some serious questions. Yes, we lost Bertuzzi and Cleary but still: 1. Why did Babcock put Draper in and not keep Modano in the line up? Or Hudler instead of Modano? 2. What the hell was wrong with our pp - 0 for 4 ??!! 3. We out shot SJ 40-30 but still ended up on the wrong end of the score sheet. 4. Last shift of play, why wasn't Dats on the ice?

Weber has got some growing up to do. He was pretty invisible in the series against Vancouver. None of that revered slapshot made it into the net. Nothing more than 5 mill per. He is certainly not worth more than Lids.

Love Howie ... he was stellar, kept us in the game many nights and stole some for us. Great to have you for a couple more years. You are turning out real well.

I so don't care. I hate Vancouver and now I hate San Jose. I don't know which team I hate more.

Damn ... I so wanted this team to be in the history books, to accomplish that great comeback from 0-3 . I wanted it for Lids just in case he isn't coming back. We were close. Now I know how Chicago felt.

Don't get why Babcock put Hudler on for the last minute. Hudler is the goat ... taking out Cleary ??!! Why was Dats on the bench ?? Anyhow, shouldn't have come down to the last minute, we should have at least scored one in the PP.

I hope Clowe is a go for tonight so that he can get Kronwalled in the 1st for good. Then when we've got a nice cushion of a need, put Kronwall on everytime Thornton is on so that we can give him a nice little present too.

Agreed, Modano did fine in his place. The Mule is not the best skater to begin with, if he is not 100%, then save him for the WCF :>.

So, if you were the GM and Coach, do you pack enough for a week in the event you win game 7? Be prepared to go straight to Vancouver or go home to Detroit before Sunday? Not to jinx anyone but I wonder what they are thinking. My bet is that they will be prepared to go to Vancouver if they win game 7.

Keep lines as they are today then when there is 10 mins left in the 3rd period put Fil and Dats together for the kill.

God I hate Thornton ... he embarasses that number on his jersey!

C'mon boys, throw as many pucks to the net as you can. Statistically, Niemi is one of the worst goalies left in the playoffs. Get enough shots and we'll come up on top. Score 4 and we'll win for sure.
