Three possible reasons: 1. Sharks are a better team than Wings. 2. Wings are mailing it in. F for effort. 3. We are being out coached. I think 3. 2 is related to 3 because a coach has to make sure his team is ready to go. And even if 1 was the case, sometimes better coaching can overcome #1. I hate to say it cuz Babcock is so revered here but maybe McLelland knows his Jedi Master's weakness. It's the padawan's time.

Would have been nice to get a split but we'll just have to channel the Boston Bruins from round 1. They were down 2 in their own building!

Damn ... where are the goals that came in bunches in round 1? Okay, Boston fought back from 0-2 ... they did it losing 2 at home so we can still do this. Flip the switch boys.

Reffing wasn't the greatest but that wasn't the reason we lost. We were outplayed, lucky to be leading 1-0 going in the third. The better team won ... although it would have been nice to steal one. Only player that showed up was Howard. Gotta be pleased about our goaltending, now if we can get our forwards going. Let's try to take 1 out of 2.

C'mon boys, let's take the first game. Put in a good 15 more minutes, attack, attack, attack. Don't let up.

Mike Gillis ... waaaaahh baby. They haven't gone past round 2 for the longest while. They haven't won anything and think that they are all that. Unless you consider the President's Trophy something to be proud of ... San Jose thought so.

Cheering for LA to stretch it to 7 but I want SJ to win cuz I want the Wings to put them out of their misery. They are soft ... Niemi is spooked, they've got some serious goaltending problems.

Our boys are too experienced to let the rest negatively affect them. Wonder what they are doing this long weekend

Phoenix with 3 PP goals in game 2 and 2 PP goals in game 3. They haven't scored without the ref's help since game 1.

Has Phoenix scored any 5 on 5 goals on us? They've been all gift wrapped by refs.
