I love how all these pens fans show up after victories. Anyways. The red wings are the superior team whether the pens fans want to believe it or not but not in their current state. We are missing our selke winner, leading point getter, top +-, power play anchor, and hart trophy candidate player. All while our captain is just coming off an injury yet we are still managing to hang in this series. Obviously a loss is a loss is a loss. However, in reality, Pittsburgh should have won both of these games and they did so.

We don't seem to be getting any sustained pressure because we're always going into their zone out numbered.

Fighting them at the end was probably the absolute dumbest thing we could. So you're down from a loss, why not let them beat your ass? Let them know how much they're in your head. Just stupid.

Some of the people in this thread really need to think for even just a few moments before posting the garbage you do. First off:It's a joke, this is is an absurd reaction to a very harmless remark. It's actually quite remarkable how little it takes to set people into a hissy fit. Secondly:Like all of the major sports, it takes a great deal of skill in order to be a professional baseball player. Just because it's not constant action like hockey doesn't make it any less of a sport. My favorite sport is hockey by a mile but it only takes a little bit of common sense to realize it takes a great deal of skill and athleticism to play baseball as well.

I really think giving up hudler(barring absurd offer sheet) would be a huge mistake on our part. The guy has loads of potential, far more than any other forward in our system.

That's my thinking as well. I actually really like that second line.

I think it's very unlikely that flip is going anywhere. He is someone that can fill a multitude of roles such as centering a shutdown line or centering a secondary score line. He's defensively while responsibly with substantial offensive upside. The key point is that he fits our system and they emphasize that in how they structure the team.

Leino is really our only upper tier offensive prospect we have left. It would really be a shame for him to walk.

I'm still weary of signing Hossa in fear of how much supporting cast we will have to cut in order to obtain him.

Leino really looked great. I hope we keep him this off-season.
