In order for us to keep all three... realistically, we won't like the contracts very much. They would have to be in the vein of zetterberg's deal. -

Great move. Abdelkader is a fantastic energy with more offensive upside than any of the guys we have. He'll be up with the club on a more permanent basis soon enough.

I love the way the red wings play and I'll continue to love it. If you can't enjoy hockey without fighting then I would rather you not watch. Go watch UFC.

Sticking Leino on the fourth line with sack of s*** and maltby isn't going to show us his ability. I hope babs gives him a shot on at least the third line.

Great point. The way our offense and powerplay works, we need a holmstom style player to be effective. Franzen is the only person on the roster suited for this outside of the sack of crap on the fourth line.

If I'm not mistaken though, Ericsson is injured as well.

I don't see hudler making 1.5 or hossa only making 6. Although that would be a stellar lineup.

I highly doubt he'll even be mentioned after this. -
A primarily third line player on pace for 70+ points, he could easily see a 4+ offer sheet. Not to mention he's young and is defensively responsible because of the team he plays for. I don't see us trading hudler for two reasons. 1.Obviously to resign in the offseason at a much lower price than our other big ticket free agents. 2.He could get a pretty hefty offer sheet come off-season and perhaps net us some good draft picks.
