The game is 2 points like every other game. Nothing more. This is not a measuring stick, a statement game, or any other sensationalized tag. It's 2 points towards making the playoffs which is all this team should care about and all it should be billed as.

Pretty lame duck punches.

Hire Kocur back and lets do some ass kicking. We'll have the fight capades, what could be better? -
Knowing these things so stupid people can always ask. ~GMR

Probably because he's too weak to to take it. Every time he ventures into the scoring areas he gets knocked on his ass or falls over the ice monster.

You can't have a watch thread and then not keep track of their statistics. You have to do this right.

As much as I would love for him to win it he probably won't even be a finalist. Honestly, I think it should go to dave tippet for the job he's done with the Cyotes which is far more impressive than the explosion the Kings and Avalanche have had. Rather than young players having breakout years he took a team dipped in mediocrity and made it dangerous because of the structure he built his team upon.

Another great game from Eaves. Played 18+ for the second straight game.
-
Yeah, he's looked pretty good for a change.

Balls.

Wouldn't this mean even less ice time for the prospects we want playing?
-
Didn't hear much from him tonight except for a few hits he dished which is more than enough for me. Unfortunately he was pretty invisible in his scoring line time(albeit very little) but he fell back into his roll on the energy line.
-
Resurrect his career? There's nothing to resurrect as he's really found his role in hockey. He's a 15 goal, 40 point player who is going to bring some size and strength into your lineup while providing a presence around the net.

If he can pot 15-20 goals every season he's welcome here until the day he retires as far I'm concerned especially considering how impressive he's been on the defensive side of the puck. -
Very cool. Great work!

Any goals out of those 3 points?

How big of an impact would Hudler be having on this season's team.

59 points is a scrub? -
Updated for the last 3 games with some added extra stats.

I hope more people follow suit with one thread for specific discussions. He's certainly surpassed my expectations and really quieted the call for another goaltender at the deadline which in itself says a lot. The biggest knock on Howard over the years has been his consistency so if he can manage to overcome his bugaboo, we'll have ourselves a solid nhl netminder.

Man that second line looks terrible.

Yeah, I don't see him ever returning. He's making more money in a league more suitable to play style while being closer to home. -

The impact Hudler could have had on our team is far more significant than people like us to believe. Hudler is probably the most skilled player behind the Euro twins and while I know it's fun to make jokes about Hudler being soft, he brings an element that we're missing right now. If you take a moment to look at our lines you'll notice that in reality, we're using a lot of grinders and very few skilled players which is a large part in why our offense has struggled. Hudler would have an instant impact on the second PP and would provide a dangerous threat in the offensive zone that we lack outside of our first line. It's rather baffling the irrational dislike that people have for Hudler in the misguided belief that players can't overcome the flaw of being "soft" through production. Take a moment and think about what Hudler brings... PRODUCTION. How many of our other players bring that trait? People are just so blinded by the soft euro identity that they aren't willing to see that Hudler is an offensive specialist and a damn good one at that. -

Hudler isn't even close to a natural goal scorer rather he's a playmaker. -
Well that's just dandy.
