TV goes off, and I immediately proceed over to my buddy's house for some chronic and recreation. Actually, I'm gonna do that anyways, but if they win then I'll wait an hour for all the celebrations to go on, THEN go over there.

I was confused too, but the 6 on Elias' jersey looks like an 8. Considering the people doing the NHL's website probably do not give a f*** about hockey, it's not really that egregious an error.

Rafalski had a pretty strong offensive game, he was making some pretty good plays holding the puck in and getting it to our worthless forwards in the o-zone.

The language for the Hart and Conn Smythe is vague. The Hart generally goes to the "best" player in the NHL, but its criteria is the player who is deemed most valuable to his team in the league, meaning that the award should probably go to someone whose team could not win without them. For example, Mason in Columbus, Kovy in Atlanta, Ovechkin certainly.. The Conn has the same language in its criteria so "who should win it" is rather murky.

As I recall, there's a limit on the number of cortisone shots a body can handle. IIRC, Homer reached this limit last year with his hernia..

Datsyuk might not be a one-of-a-kind pure talent, but as far as the way that he plays and his style he is certainly unique. The way that he's all over the ice, twisting, turning, lifting sticks, stealing pucks, setting up talent, even just the way that he skates is all incredibly unique and not like any other player.

If we had our penalty kill in order we would have cruised to the SCF in twelve games total and would be going into game 4 with a chance to win sixteen games in a row. I'm just saying, giving up half the number of goals at even-strength that our SCF opponent has is incredible. Our penalty kill is not so incredible. -
I called the Chicago series letter-perfect; win two at home, Chicago wins game 3 based on their home crowd exuberance, Wings dominate game 4 and then finish it off at home. That was my prediction for this series too and I would love nothing more than to see it come true.

He was an absolute monster out there tonight. Obviously tired but considering he was dogging Crosby every step of the way, that's to be expected. He was incredible, we rode him like his name was Getzlaf.

Orpik and Gill are both pretty guilty of it, but honestly the way our PK is going I'd rather see a low number of penalties called on both sides than a high number. -
If they had, this whole forum would have lost its s***, so I'm glad they didn't.
