Dats hasn't scored much at all but let's not dis Stuart. He has been one of our best players and probably our second-best defenseman (Ericsson might have something to say about that but at the moment I think it's 1 Lids 2 Stu 3 Big Rig 4 Kronwall).

I've stayed at the Marriott Renaissance both times I've been in the D for games. Nothing bad to say about it, rooms we stayed in weren't especially fancy but I don't think it was too expensive and everything was fairly nice. We've cabbed (like $5) to Cheli's and then taken the shuttle both times too.

The fact that this article was written now, in the second round, is ridiculous. The fact that Niedermayer is on it is ridiculous. The fact that Michael Ryder is on it while Johan Franzen is not, is ridiculous. The placement of the other two Ducks as #s 1 and 2 is ridiculous. If this list had been an unranked "here's ten guys, in no particular order, who have stepped up for their team" it would have been much less egregious. As it is, it's simply meaningless. -
I like that the Angels suck balls. And I say that after my Jays lost to them tonight.

I agree with just about all of that, especially Hiller. Stick/blocker and five-hole. Stay away from his glove and if necessary shoot low to look for rebounds off the pads. He will gobble up anything in his chest or glove area; elsewhere, he is vulnerable.

Slow down there, Ma. If anybody in this thread really believes that the Wings can sleep through the next two or three games and win just because Pronger touched the octopus, they are dumber than I expected. Simple superstition mixed with typical playoff trash-talk. If you got that wound up by a thread like this, maybe Ducks fans actually don't know much about playoff hockey.

Clearly, Flip has superior chemistry with both Mule and Hossa. Mule/Flip/Hoss is great, D/Z/H is great, I don't see any reason to change 'em back.

After scoring one goal through nearly six periods, we explode and get 5 plus an empty-netter in three. I'd say the line changes worked. Game 5's going to be critical, as it was two years ago. I swear, if the Wings repeat that heartbreaker from 2007 I will probably cry.

Please note the soft call for interference on Stuart, the bulls*** no-call on goalie interference on the ensuing penalty and obviously the ******* embarassment at the end. This is absolute trash.

The intent is irrelevant. That whistle should NOT HAVE BEEN BLOWN, period. The puck was loose in the crease. He should NOT have blown that whistle. ******* outrageous. The officiating was bad all game and that was the worst of the worst.
